I was told you were an artist

I don't define myself as an artist. When a person said "I thought you were an artist" implying otherwise because I said I didn't have the skills to teach a large class I wasn't offended.
But somehow it sparked the need in me to create so I created the works above. Watercolor, metallic pens and some stencils can be very cathartic. They make a good wall for little Puffin Billy the Japanese Chin's playpen.

I define myself as a wife. A Christian, a dog mom and am that lady who releases birds at funerals.  I am a maker. Nobody can take that away from me. Who cares if it's art? It makes me happy.

In my thirties I dealt with bullies. Now I just make art.
